Services Provided
AutoLeader.ca is an INTERMEDIARY SERVICE PROVIDER, NOT A LENDER OR DEALER
What We Do:
AutoLeader.ca operates as an online matching platform that:
- Connects potential car buyers with dealerships and financial institutions
- Collects information from users through forms, questionnaires, and quizzes
- Analyzes your preferences and financial situation
- Shares that information with our partner network (lenders and dealerships)
- Facilitates connections between you and multiple financing options
What We Do NOT Do:
AutoLeader.ca is NOT:
- A direct lender or auto dealer
- A financial advisor or credit counselor
- Responsible for your financing decision or terms
- Liable for lender or dealer actions
Our Revenue Model:
AutoLeader.ca receives commissions from third-party partners for each lead distributed. You are not charged by AutoLeader.ca. Partners determine their own pricing and terms.
Eligibility Requirements
General (All Provinces)
- At least 18 years old
- Legally capable of contracts
- Canadian resident
- Valid ID available
British Columbia
- Must be 19+ to independently sign
- Age 18: May apply with co-signer (19+)
- Can still drive vehicle
- Builds credit history
Your Representation & Warranty
By using this site, you represent and warrant that:
- You meet all age and legal requirements
- All information provided is accurate and complete
- You have the legal right to provide such information
- You are not using the Service for fraudulent purposes
- You understand the obligations created by these Terms
- You are not under any legal restriction preventing credit access
User Responsibilities
As a user of AutoLeader.ca, you agree to:
Lawful Use
- Use the website lawfully and responsibly
- Not use AutoLeader.ca for unlawful purposes
- Not damage, disable, or disrupt the platform
- Not attempt to hack, exploit, or compromise security
- Not engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
Accurate Information
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information when requested
- Understand that inaccurate information may affect financing eligibility
- Update information if circumstances change
- Not provide false information to improve approval chances
Account Security
- Maintain confidentiality of login information
- Be responsible for all activity under your account
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
- Not share credentials with others
No Guarantee of Approval or Specific Terms
IMPORTANT: AutoLeader.ca is a matching service only.
We make NO GUARANTEES regarding financing approval, rates, or specific loan terms.
What We Do NOT Guarantee:
- Approval: We do NOT guarantee approval for any financing
- Rates: Advertised rates are examples only and may not be available to you
- Terms: Specific loan amounts, terms, or monthly payments
- Results: That financing will result in vehicle purchase
- Contact: That lenders will contact you
- Quality: Quality or reliability of partner services
- Savings: That you will save money compared to alternatives
Lender Independence
Your approval is entirely at the discretion of our partner lenders. Each lender has:
- Their own eligibility criteria
- Credit score and income requirements
- Income verification processes
- Rate calculation methodologies
- Individual approval decisions
- Right to decline any application
AutoLeader.ca has no control over and is not responsible for lender decisions.
Financial and Legal Advice
AutoLeader.ca does NOT provide:
- Financial advice or recommendations
- Legal guidance or counsel
- Tax planning or advice
- Credit counseling or repair services
Recommendation: Consult qualified professionals (accountant, lawyer, financial advisor) before making financing decisions.
Transfer and Sale of Leads
How Your Information Becomes a “Lead”
When you submit your information through AutoLeader.ca:
- Lead Creation: Your information becomes a “lead” in our system
- Lead Distribution: We distribute your lead to multiple partners simultaneously or sequentially
- Lead Sale: We may sell your lead to partners for a commission
- Multiple Sales: Your lead may be sold to multiple partners (typically 3-10+)
- Lead Ownership: We retain ownership per our Privacy Policy
You Consent to Understanding:
- Your information will be shared with multiple third parties
- These third parties may further share your information with their partners
- Partners who purchase your lead control their own use of your data
- We cannot control how partners use your information once transferred
- We profit from distributing your lead; you will not receive compensation
Lead Value and Our Revenue
Your lead has commercial value. AutoLeader.ca earns revenue by:
- Receiving commissions from partner lenders per distributed lead
- Selling leads to dealerships and financial institutions
- Receiving referral fees when you obtain financing
Typical commission range: $25-$150 per lead, depending on partner and quality.
Lead Recall (Cannot Be Undone)
- Once submitted, your lead may have already been distributed
- Opting out prevents FUTURE distribution only
- We cannot recall leads already sent to partners
- Partners retain your information per their own policies
Marketing Communications
By using AutoLeader.ca, you consent to receive marketing communications including:
- Promotional Offers: Special financing offers, limited-time deals, exclusive savings
- Application Updates: Status updates, follow-ups, completion reminders
- Vehicle Recommendations: Vehicles matching your preferences and location
- Customer Stories: Testimonials and success stories from other clients
- Seasonal Campaigns: Holiday promotions, seasonal opportunities
- Surveys & Feedback: Requests to help us improve your experience
Communication Methods
Messages may be delivered via:
- SMS (text message)
- MMS (multimedia message)
- Phone calls
- Other methods to which you have consented
How to Opt-Out
SMS Messages
To stop SMS messages from AutoLeader.ca:
- Reply to any message with STOP
- We will confirm your unsubscribe via SMS
- You will no longer receive SMS messages from us
- To rejoin: Register again as you initially did
Email & Other Communications
- Click “Unsubscribe” link in any email
- Email us at info@autoleader.ca
- Specify type of communications to stop

Note on Partner Communications
Marketing opt-outs to AutoLeader.ca do NOT stop partner communications. Partners have their own marketing practices and opt-out procedures.
Interaction with Third-Party Service Providers
Your Data Sharing Consent
By providing information through AutoLeader.ca, you acknowledge and agree that your data may be shared with:
- Dealerships: New and used car dealers across Canada
- Lenders: Banks, credit unions, and alternative financial institutions
- Financing Partners: Other finance companies and partners
- Credit Bureaus: Equifax Canada, TransUnion Canada
Partner Independence
Any agreements or arrangements made between you and these third-party providers are solely between you and them.
AutoLeader.ca is NOT responsible for:
- Terms of agreements with partners
- Products or services provided by third parties
- Partner compliance with laws or regulations
- Partner customer service or conduct
- How partners use or secure your information
Credit Checks
To process your application or transactions, we or third parties may perform a credit check to verify creditworthiness.
Credit checks may include:
- Soft inquiries (do not impact credit score)
- Hard inquiries (may temporarily impact credit score)
- Verification of employment and income
- Review of payment history
By using this site and submitting information, you consent to such credit checks.
Multiple Contacts Warning
IMPORTANT: By submitting your information, you consent to being contacted by MULTIPLE partners.
Volume of Contact You May Receive:
Phone Calls
- 5-50+ calls from different lenders and dealers
- From various phone numbers across Canada
- At business hours typically (but not limited to)
- Multiple calls from same partner possible
Emails
- 10-100+ emails from different partners
- Marketing offers and loan pre-approvals
- Rate quotes and vehicle recommendations
- Follow-up and re-engagement messages
Text Messages (SMS)
- 5-20+ text messages (if you provided mobile number)
- From multiple senders
- Promotional offers and application updates
- May include shortcodes or toll-free numbers
Other Contact
- Voicemail messages
- Follow-up calls over 30-90 days
- Re-engagement attempts if you don’t respond
Managing Contact Volume
- You may opt-out of marketing messages per CASL requirements
- You may request removal from specific partner lists
- We will honor opt-out requests for FUTURE distribution
- We cannot recall leads already distributed to partners
- Partners control their own contact practices independently
Do Not Call List (DNCL) Exception
Even if you’re registered on the National Do Not Call List:
- Partners may contact you regarding your application
- Exception under CASL: “existing business relationship”
- Exception under CASL: “consent to be contacted”
- By submitting application, you grant this exception

Your use of AutoLeader.ca is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Use by reference.

Fees and Charges
No Direct Fees to Users
AutoLeader.ca does NOT charge users directly for our matching service.
What’s FREE:

- Receiving matches with lenders
- Being contacted by partners
- Using our website and platform
- All AutoLeader.ca services
Our Revenue Model
AutoLeader.ca earns revenue by:
- Receiving commissions from partner lenders when you match
- Selling leads to dealerships and financial institutions
- Receiving referral fees when you obtain financing
Typical commission range: $25-$150 per lead
You understand:
- Partners pay AutoLeader.ca, not you
- This creates a potential conflict of interest
- We may prioritize partners paying higher commissions
- This does NOT affect price you pay partners (they set their own rates)
Partner Fees
Partners may charge fees including:
- Application fees
- Origination fees
- Documentation fees
- Early repayment penalties
- Late payment fees
These fees are set by partners, not AutoLeader.ca. Review all partner terms carefully before agreeing.
Intellectual Property
All content and materials on AutoLeader.ca (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and software) are owned or licensed by AutoLeader.ca and protected by intellectual property laws.
Your License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view AutoLeader.ca for personal use only.
Prohibited Actions
You may NOT:
- Reproduce or copy content from the site
- Distribute or sell content
- Modify or create derivative works
- Reverse engineer or decompile software
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
- Use content for commercial purposes
Any unauthorized use is a violation of these Terms and applicable law.
Termination
AutoLeader.ca reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the platform at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that you have:
- Violated these Terms of Use
- Engaged in fraudulent or unlawful activity
- Provided false or misleading information
- Attempted to gain unauthorized access
- Interfered with platform operation
- Violated other users’ rights
Effect of Termination
- Your access is immediately revoked
- You must cease all use of the platform
- Previous obligations continue to apply
- These Terms survive termination

- Service availability or lack of interruption

- Service quality or functionality
Financing & Results
- Financing approval or specific rates
- Loan terms, amounts, or monthly payments
- That use will result in approved loans
- That financing will be better than alternatives
- That you will save money
Partner Quality
- Quality or reliability of partner services
- Partner compliance with laws
- Partner security or privacy protections
- That partners will contact you
Technical
- Error-free operation or bug-free code
- Freedom from viruses or malware
- Compatibility with all devices/browsers
- Uninterrupted data access
Professional Advice Disclaimer
AutoLeader.ca does NOT provide:
- Financial advice or recommendations
- Legal advice or guidance
- Tax planning or advice
- Credit counseling or repair services

Consumer Rights
Nothing in this section limits or excludes any consumer rights you may have under Canadian consumer protection laws that cannot be limited or excluded by contract.
Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
Agreement to Arbitrate
You and AutoLeader.ca agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of our Service shall be settled by binding arbitration, except as provided below.
Arbitration Process
- Location: British Columbia, Canada
- Rules: British Columbia Arbitration Act
- Arbitrator: Single arbitrator mutually agreed upon
- Language: English
- Costs: Each party bears their own costs unless arbitrator decides otherwise
Exceptions to Arbitration
Either party may seek:
- Injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations
- Claims in small claims court (if eligible)
- Report to regulatory authorities (Privacy Commissioner, etc.)
Class Action Waiver
YOU AGREE THAT DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, NOT AS A CLASS ACTION.
You waive any right to:
- Participate in a class action lawsuit
- Act as a class representative
- Consolidate claims with other users
- Seek relief on behalf of others
If this waiver is found unenforceable, the arbitration agreement does not apply to that claim.
Informal Resolution First
Before filing arbitration, you agree to first:

- Attempt informal resolution
- Allow 30 days for good faith resolution
Time Limit for Claims
Any claim must be filed within ONE YEAR from when the claim arose.
After one year, the claim is permanently barred.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AutoLeader.ca, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and partners from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to:
- Your use or misuse of the Service
- Your breach of these Terms of Use
- Your violation of any law or regulation
- Your violation of third-party rights
- Inaccurate, false, or misleading information you provide
- Your failure to honor commitments to lenders or dealers
- Disputes between you and third-party partners
- Your application for financing
- Any financing agreement you enter
- Your use of any vehicle financed through partners
Your Cooperation
You agree to cooperate fully in the defense of any claim. AutoLeader.ca reserves the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defense.
This indemnification survives termination of your use of the Service.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
AutoLeader.ca and its affiliates shall not be liable for ANY losses, including but not limited to:
- Direct damages
- Indirect damages
- Incidental damages
- Consequential damages
- Special damages
- Punitive damages
- Lost profits or revenue
- Lost business opportunities
- Lost data
- Damage to reputation
arising from or related to:
- Your use or inability to use the platform
- Provision or failure to provide services
- Unauthorized access or data transmission
- Partner conduct or services
- Financing decisions or terms
- Any financing agreement
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this section limits or excludes any consumer rights you may have under Canadian consumer protection laws.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Use is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be:
- Severed from these Terms
- Modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable
- Replaced with a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent
Effect
The remaining provisions of these Terms shall:
- Remain in full force and effect
- Be interpreted to give effect to the parties’ intent
- Continue to bind both parties
Example
If the arbitration clause is found unenforceable:
- Only that clause is removed
- All other terms remain valid
- Disputes would proceed in court under remaining terms
Assignment and Business Transfer
Our Right to Assign
AutoLeader.ca may assign, transfer, or delegate these Terms and our rights and obligations:
- To any affiliate or subsidiary
- In connection with merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
- To any successor entity in corporate reorganization
- To third-party service providers
No notice required. Your continued use constitutes acceptance.
Your Right to Assign
You may NOT assign these Terms without our prior written consent. Any attempted assignment without consent is void.
Business Sale Effect
In the event AutoLeader.ca is sold or merged:
- These Terms remain in effect
- Your information may transfer to acquiring entity
- Acquiring entity assumes our obligations
- You will be notified per our Privacy Policy
- You may opt-out of continued service under new ownership
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada and British Columbia, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
You agree to:
- Submit to arbitration per the “Arbitration & Dispute Resolution” section
- Accept exclusive jurisdiction of Canadian courts for matters not subject to arbitration
- Waive any objection to venue in Canadian courts
- Irrevocably consent to jurisdiction of such courts
Entire Agreement
These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy and any other referenced agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and AutoLeader.ca regarding the subject matter and supersede all prior communications, whether electronic, oral, or written.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon being posted on this page.
Your continued use of AutoLeader.ca after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
